We want everyone to have the best Indy Pride Festival possible, and to keep things running smoothly, here is some basic information to help you plan for Festival Day.

 

Festival Location/Hours

The Festival takes place at Military Park (601 W New York St, Indianapolis, IN) from 11 am-10 pm on Saturday, June 8th.

Ticket Prices

Tickets to the Indy Pride Festival are $10 in advance and $12 the day of the event.  VIP tickets are $75 in advance and $90 the day of the event.

Children 5 and Under will be admitted to the Festival for free when accompanied by an adult.

 

Accessibility

If you have a caregiver, that caregiver will be admitted to the Festival at no cost. If you have any accommodation needs please let us know when buying your ticket. We will do our best to accommodate those needs. If you have questions you can contact our accessibility team at [email protected]

 

Parking Information

Indy Pride is partnering with Gate Ten Events and Parking to offer convenient and accessible parking for our Parade and Festival attendees! Purchase a parking pass to park in the Gate Ten Events and Parking lot on Saturday, June 8th and be shuttled to the Parade, from the Parade to the Festival, and from the Festival back to your vehicle at the lot. Wheelchair-accessible shuttles will be available. 

 

Clear Bag Policy

To provide a safer environment for the public and significantly expedite fan entry into the Indy Pride Festival, Indy Pride has implemented a Clear Bag Policy that limits the size and type of bags that may be brought into the Festival. Exceptions to this policy will be made for all medically necessary items and/or diaper bags after proper inspection (see Medical Needs section below for more info). 

ALL BAGS entering the Festival must be clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and must not exceed 12″ x 6″ x 12″ or 30.5 x 15.25 x 30.5 cm. 

NO regular (non-clear) backpacks, purses, etc are allowed.

Small non-clear clutch-style bags or fanny packs smaller than 4.5” x 6.5” will be allowed.

 

ALLOWED

  • YES Purses and bags – must adhere to the CLEAR BAG POLICY LISTED ABOVE. All bags will be subject to search.
  • YES Strollers and Wagons for children
  • YES Chairs (Carrying bags for chairs will be subject to searches)
  • YES Medication
  • YES Service Animals
  • YES Sunblock
  • YES ONE unopened non alcoholic beverage in the original container.
  • YES Empty refillable water bottle to use at the NEW HYDRATION STATIONS!

NOT ALLOWED

-NO Smoking or Vaping on festival grounds, including AVPs, MODs or Liquid to Refill Cartridges. If attendees choose to smoke, including e-cigarettes or vaping, you must get a pass-out and exit Festival grounds. Pass-out tickets will allow you access to come back in at no additional cost.

-NO Drugs or Drug Paraphernalia

-NO Outside Alcohol
-NO Nudity – While we do not want to limit self-expression, the local laws need to be followed. We ask you to observe the simple rule of swimsuit covering. If you can wear it to a public pool you are good to go.

-NO Aerosol Products/Aerosol Cans (with exception of spray sunscreen)

-NO Bicycles, Skates, Scooters, Skateboards, Hoverboards or Segways

-NO Coolers (with the exception of medical needs)

-NO Pets – with the exception of service animals. We encourage you to check out Pet Pride for a very pet-friendly event on June 1st. (Trust us: Your pet will love it!)

-NO Drones

-NO Fireworks or Explosives

-NO Glass Containers

-NO Outside Food (with exception to medical needs) Each guest is allowed ONE, sealed, non-alcoholic beverage. We encourage you to bring an empty, reusable water bottle to use at our complimentary water stations. 

-NO Weapons of Any Kind, Pepper Spray or Mace

 

 

Medical Needs

Medically necessary items will be permitted after proper inspection at the gates. Attendees with medically necessary items should alert security personnel at the entry point.

Small Coolers for medical purposes only, no larger than 14″ x 9″ x 14″ will be allowed and are subject to inspection by security.

UNOPENED food items are allowed if needed for medical reasons i.e. diabetes, gluten intolerance, lactose intolerance, etc.

 

Community Zone

The Community Zone is designed for families with entertainment and vendors geared toward children and families. This is a smoke-free, family-friendly area, so please be courteous when visiting this space.

 

Personal Items = Personal Responsibility

You are solely responsible for your personal items, including the items left in unattended canopies and tents, including cabanas. You assume all risk of their loss or damage. Lost and Found will be located at the Info Tent located at the Pavilion on the east side of the park.

 

No Unauthorized/Unregistered Vending of Any Kind

No Unauthorized Solicitations, Handbills, Sampling, Giveaways, posting of signs or placards on any surface. We welcome you to register as a Vendor next year.

 

Safety & Security

There will be medical assistance tents available within the park. Medical teams will also be roving the park offering help to those in need. 

All attendees will be required to pass through security checkpoints before entering the event. This includes the use of walk-through metal detectors, wands and bag/personal item inspections. 

If at any time you need emergency assistance, look for a uniformed medical or security agent OR  find an official Indy Pride representative.

Promotional videos and photos will be taken at all events, including the Indy Pride Parade and the Indy Pride Festival.

By entering, you grant Indy Pride, Inc., permission to use your likeness in all future promotional material, including but not limited to social media outlets, brochures, videos, and other printed materials.
