Indy Pride, Inc. is proud to announce the Rainbow 5K Presented by Anthem will be held on Saturday May 18th with the run beginning at 8:30a.m.
The following roads will be affected with travel and parking restrictions:
Park Ave, St Clare, Alabama, 16th Street, College, and Massachusetts Avenue. closures beginning at 7:00a.m.
The John D Alexander Hoosier 250 Tricycle Race Presented by Smirnoff Sunday May 19th from noon-5p.m. with Park Avenue being closed from 9:00a.m. until 5:00p.m.
Finally, the Cadillac Barbie Pride Parade Presented by Delta Faucet will be held on June 8th with road closures beginning at 6:30a.m. until after 2:00p.m. Please look at www.indypride.org for a map of the parade after May 26th.
We will have extra trash receptacles along the route that will be removed after the events.
Indy Pride, Inc. is working with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department to ensure this event is properly handled during the times listed above. It is our hope that communicating this information to residents can account for the change in parking, travel availability, and businesses can notify customers/staff in advance so that they are not inconvenienced.
