The Central Indiana LGBTQ+ Community is served by Indy Pride, Inc. and its all-volunteer Board of Directors. Our mission is to unite and serve its members and the LGBTQ+ community of Central Indiana through leadership development, educational and support programs, and community events that achieve inclusivity, equality, strong community connections, and awareness of LGBTQ+ issues.

Now is your opportunity to let your voice be heard and join the group as we lead our community into the future!

Responsibilities of Board members include but are not limited to: 

-Meet on the second Wednesday of each month at the Indy Pride offices located at 3733 N. Meridian St., Indianapolis, IN 46208.

– Assist in the planning and execution of Pride events throughout the year.

-Maintain decorum as a leader of the LGBTQ+ Community and be a voice for members and allies of our community.

-Develop and implement a vision for the organization which aligns with the mission of the organization.

To be eligible for the Board of Directors you must meet the following criteria:

A. Must reside in the State of Indiana.
B. Must be member of Indy Pride, Inc.’s general membership in good standing for at least sixty (60) calendar days prior to the annual meeting. 2019 Annual meeting to take place on November 14, 2019. Membership can be obtained here. Membership deadline is September 12, 2019.
C. Must sign a copy of the by-laws stating they have read and understand what is written there.
D. Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.
E. Any other reasonable qualification deemed necessary by the members of the Board of Directors.
