Event Committee Chairs will help in overseeing the moving parts and final fruition of each event. They will assist the Event & Program Director with event logistics, working to ensure a venue, entertainment, any food, and staffing needs are secured within a timely manner. The Event Chair(s) will also assist the Marketing Director with marketing plans, giveaways, flyers, campaigns. We also ask all our event chairs to help enhance each event space to show off our pride! All chair positions will report directly to the Event & Program Director.
Below is a list of descriptions for the Indy Pride Season Planning Committee. This committee will meet on the 3rd Tuesday of every month. These meetings will serve as a time to give updates, ask questions to the group, generate ideas, and provide general check-ins for each event. Committees are encouraged to meet outside of the Indy Pride Season Planning Committee meetings to push forward with event planning and check-in. If there is any assistance needed throughout the planning time, please reach out to our Indy Pride staff.
