Indy Pride 5K
Sprint, Stroll, Slay, or Sashay in the annual Indy Pride 5K! The Indy Pride 5K will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at 9:00 AM (and conclude by 12:00 PM). Whether you’re a seasoned runner, a casual walker, or somewhere in between, everyone is welcome to participate and show their support for the LGBTQ+ community.
Indianapolis Chamber Orchestra: The Chevalier
Discover the remarkable life and music of Joseph Bologne, Chevalier de Saint-Georges—composer, virtuoso violinist, champion fencer, military leader, and crusader for equality—through The Chevalier, a powerful musical play by Bill Barclay, presented the Madam Walker Legacy Center. The Chevalier is played by violinist, Brendon Elliott.
PrideReads: Tales of the City
PrideReads is back, and we are bringing one of the great queer classics with us. Join Dr. Alex Richardson and Indy Pride for our next queer book club session featuring Tales of the City by Armistead Maupin. An evening of great conversation, genuine community, and the kind of belonging that queer readers build together.
American Lives Theatre: Arlington
Indy Pride is proud to partner with American Lives Theatre for their upcoming show, Arlington, or Your Forgotten American Hero, by Andrew Kramer. This is a powerful play uncovering a vital piece of queer American history.
The Hoosier 250
Rev up your engines for the Indy Pride Hoosier 250 where high-octane racing meets high-glam drag! Held during the iconic Indianapolis 500 weekend, this crowd-favorite tricycle race swaps horsepower for hilarity as dazzling drag performers and spirited community members speed, swerve, and strut their way to the finish line. It’s a joyful, over-the-top celebration of inclusivity, creativity, and Hoosier pride that draws enthusiastic crowds ready to cheer, laugh, and connect.
Indy Eleven Pride Night
Join Indy Eleven and Indy Pride as we kick off Pride Month on May 30 at 7 PM when Indy Eleven takes on Rhode Island at Carroll Stadium. This special Pride Night will feature on-field activations like an honorary captain moment and a post-game goal kick opportunity.
Indiana Fever Pride Night
Join Indiana Fever and Indy Pride as we tip off Pride Month on Thursday, June 4 at 7 PM when the Fever take on the Atlanta Dream at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Bring your friends and family and sit together as a group for this special Pride Night celebration.
Indianapolis Men's Chorus: Pride on the Lawn
Presented in partnership with the Indy Parks Monumental Concert Series, and Indy Pride, this free outdoor concert celebrates Pride Month with upbeat music and a vibrant summer atmosphere. The event underscores IMC’s ongoing commitment to visibility, inclusion, and community engagement.
Community Cookout + Bat N' Rouge
The Community Cookout & Bat N’ Rouge is where connection, celebration, and a little friendly competition come together in the best way. This welcoming, family-friendly event invites community members to gather, share a free meal, and build meaningful connections in an inclusive, joyful space. From a spirited game of softball to casual activities that get everyone moving and mingling, it’s all about fostering belonging and celebrating community pride.
Indianapolis Indians Pride Night
Round up your crew and slay your way to Victory Field on Thursday, June 11 to serve looks and kick off Pride Weekend in Indy! Your ticket includes the game plus early entry to Pride in the Plaza, our pregame DJ party where the beats drop before the first pitch.
Indy Pride Presents: Tash Sultana

Indy Gay Market @ Indy Pride Festival
A featured highlight of the Indy Pride Festival, the Market returns June 13 and 14 — bigger than ever, and right in the heart of the action. The 2026 festival expands across Military Park, Celebration Plaza, White River State Park, and the Indiana State Museum Lawn, creating more space than ever for the local creators, queer makers, and small businesses that define the spirit of this community.
Pet Pride
The fiercest, fluffiest showdown of Pride Weekend is here. Pet Pride comes to White River State Park on Sunday, June 14, hosted by the one and only Pat Yo Weave. This is not your traditional pet show. This is Indy Pride style — fabulous fits, wagging tails, big personalities, and queer joy in full force.
The District Theatre: They Call Me Genêt
Indy Pride is partnering with The District Theatre for their upcoming show this summer, They Call Me Genêt.
This one-woman show offers a front-row seat to Flanner’s remarkable life between the wars and beyond.
Career Fair
Connect with inclusive employers at the Indy Pride Career Fair. This free, community-wide event offers a welcoming space to explore opportunities and make meaningful professional connections.
Indy Pride Pageant
The Indy Pride Pageant is a celebration of drag, talent, and the art of self-expression — rooted in a legacy that has always been central to queer culture. Contestants take the stage competing not just for a crown, but for the chance to spend a year as a visible, vibrant ambassador for the Indianapolis LGBTQ+ community. There will be a $5 charge at the door that goes directly back to the Pageant!
Indiana Pacers Pride Night
Indy Pride is teaming up with the Indiana Pacers for a special Pride Night at the Pacers game! Join us for an evening of basketball, community celebration, and inclusive spirit as we cheer on the Pacers with LGBTQ+ Hoosiers, allies, and friends.
